She is a Doctor of Economic Sciences and a Professor-Researcher at Turan University. She is an active researcher and expert in digitalization, innovation economics, and machine learning applications. Since 2017, she has served as an expert for the Science Fund, IAAR, and the National Center for Higher Education Development, and since 2023 she has been a full member of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Kazakhstan.
Prof. Dr. Baitenova is the author of 6 monographs (including 4 published by Springer), 16 scientific articles, and 6 copyrighted works. She leads a state-funded research project on automated correction technologies for Kazakh-language texts and supervises student teams who have won national and university competitions.
Her achievements have been recognized with several national awards, including the badge “For Contribution to the Development of Science” (2024), the “Saken Seifullin” medal (2024), the title “Best University Lecturer” (2014), and the honorary title “Distinguished Educator of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (2014).
